Mine and Quarry Concepts
Process design. We select and size equipment for the long run and also perform regular field visits for process improvement. We utilize much more in depth methods than commerical software for feeding, crushing, screening, and classification to ensure success. We can also perform what-if analysis or alternative design studies to prove current studies.

We select and size equipment for the long run and perform regular field visits for process improvement. Most commerical process software are glorified "tonnage splitters". We utilize much more in depth in-house methods than commerical software for feeding, crushing, screening, and classification to ensure success for machine longevity and not because a piece of software told us to do so.

Analysis
There is no IT constraint to our engineering systems and tools. We perform multi-gigabyte model analysis regurlarly to coincide with classical methods. Many times we can save percentages of project budgets due to better raw material utilization incorporated with our experience of wear, fatigue, vibration, and fundmental knowledge of machine design and structural steel best practices.

Optimization
This lower structure for a 1300 stph system was optimized for over 100 load cases with 13 million options in under 10 minutes. This along with our mass optimizer can even improve complex stuctures to optimize member locations and shape prior to size optimiziation.

Connections
We use advanced software and classical methods for bolted ana welded connection analysis. Due to the complexity of bins, hoppers, transfer points and machinery connections, beam and simple plate analysis is not enough.

Site Scanning
Due to the complexity of machinery, structures, and transfer points, surveying is not enough. We aim to reduce 98% of all rework costs with the ability to interchange mechanical cad and structural data with 3D Lidar scanning and surveying work together.

Additional Review Services
TKO will also design and review lifting beams, perform conveyor and feeder calculations, silos, and smoke stacks to ASME or appropriate codes.

Field Inspection
We help review site issues and many times observe for performance improvements. While some are easier than others, we work constructively with are clients for practical solutions and many phased improvement approaches. TKO will also provide fabrication and installation through our commercial division.
